WuXi Vaccines Dundalk Site is located mid-way between Dublin and Belfast, less than an hour’s drive from Ireland’s two largest cities. The site is a greenfield development of an integrated vaccine manufacturing facility to be used exclusively as part of a 20-year vaccine manufacturing contract with a global vaccine leader, valued at approximately USD $3 billion.

Dundalk site is equipped with drug substance manufacturing (DS), drug product manufacturing (DP), Manufacture Science and Technology Labs (MS&T) as well as Quality Control labs (QC).

The QC potency lab became operational in July 2020 and received the GMP certificate from Ireland Health Products Regulatory Authority (HPRA) in July 2022. Following the mechanical completion of the main manufacturing facility in October 2022, steps are underway toward commissioning, qualification and validation (CQV), tech transfer (TT), and process performance qualification (PPQ), all leading towards the launch of a great innovative vaccine.
