WuXi Vaccines’ Dundalk site is located midway between Dublin and Belfast, less than an hour’s drive from Ireland’s two largest cities. The site is greenfield development of a vaccine manufacturing facility dedicated exclusively to a 20-year contract with a global vaccine leader.

Our Dundalk site is equipped with DS manufacturing, drug product manufacturing, manufacture science and technology labs (MSAT), and quality control labs (QC).

A QC potency lab became operational in July 2020 and received GMP certification from Ireland Health Products Regulatory Authority (HPRA) in July 2022. After commissioning, qualification, and validation (CQV) of the main manufacturing facility, technical transfer (TT), and process performance qualification (PPQ) are underway to support the launch of an innovative vaccine.
